Zechariah Jones

Mr. Zechariah Jones, 89, of Rutherfordton, NC, died on July 26, 2006 at Willow Ridge Nursing Center. A native of Lattimore, NC, he was the son of the late Monroe & Hester Jones. He retired from Thomas & Howard of Shelby. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the European Theater. He was a member of Lattimore Baptist Church we he served as a church deacon. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Elizabeth McCurry Jones of Rutherfordton, son, David Jones of Shelby; daughter, Sandra Jones Robertson of Myrtle Beach;, Robin Jones Campbell of Boiling Springs; brother, Fred Jones of Shelby & a sister, Annie Mae Bramlett of Lattimore; grandchildren, Amy Camby, Scott & Karla Jones, Leslie & Jennifer Moore, John Lankford, Jr. & Wendy Greene and 9 great grandchildren.
