Talmadge Oaks

Mr. Oaks, 80, a native of Cleveland County, NC passed away Tuesday at White Oak Manor of Shelby. He was retired from Shelby Mill Co. where he worked as a weaver for 40 years. His parents were the late C. H. Oaks & Lilly Lail Oaks, and he was also preceeded in death by brothers Ed, Worth, earnest & Bobby Oaks and a sister Eva O. Cook.
Mr. Oaks is survived by his wife Velma Ingle Oaks of the home, a brother Adam Oaks of Shelby.
