Syphay Siharij

Mrs. Syphay Siharaj, age 70, of Charlotte, NC, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at her daughter’s residence surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her children, Wilai Saqqa (Mohammed) of Charlotte, NC, Vilayvone Silaphet (Tui) of Kings Mountain, NC, Pon Graham (Andrew) of Davidson, NC, Ai Wardlaw (Danyell) of Charlotte, NC, and Joy Norris (David) of Charlotte, NC, and eleven grandchildren.

Born September 1, 1954, in Laos, Syphay was the daughter of the late Kheu Sirasa and Phan Sirasa and was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bounthieng Siharaj.

Syphay was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, fishing, and dedicating her life to her family and friends. Syphay was a loyal member of Wat Lao Buddharam & Lao Community Center in Charlotte where she volunteered most of her time.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Cleveland Funeral Services and Crematory Chapel in Shelby.
