Susan Hamrick

Susan Pearson Hamrick, age 55 of Shelby, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020, at her residence.

She is survived by her fiancé, Robert Joel Hawkins of Shelby, NC, her children, Brandy Lail of Charlotte, NC, Joni Painter of Blacksburg, SC, Shelly Smith of Blacksburg, SC, and Kayla Painter of Ellenboro, NC, thirteen grandchildren, and two sisters, Darlene Earl of Indiana and Wanda Rowell of Shelby, NC.

Born April 3, 1965 in Cleveland County, Susan was the daughter of the late James and Emma Holt Parson.  Susan enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She loved her canine companion “Spaz”.
