Susan Grant Church

Mrs. Susan Grant Church, age 52 of Shelby, NC, passed away Sunday October 5, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Michael Church of the home, her children, Kimberly Merrill and husband Trey of Kings Mountain, NC, Tabitha Church and Christopher Cannova of Shelby, NC, Matthew Church and fiancé Macy Anderson of Shelby, NC, and Cynthia Stafford and husband William of Rutherfordton, NC, five grandchildren, Karson and Mason Merrill including three from Cynthia, and her favorite father-in-law, Mike Church of Shelby, NC.

Born November 8, 1972, in Cleveland County, NC, Susan was the daughter of the late Miles Jerome Grant and Gladys McClain Grant, and was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Barbara Church. Susan was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed listening to music, traveling to the beach and the mountain, and spending time with her family and friends. Susan also cherished the little moments in life. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
