Sherry Clark Creech

Sherry Clark Creech, 64, of Shelby, North Carolina, passed away on January 7, 2026, at her home surrounded by family.

She was born on September 18, 1961, in Gastonia, North Carolina, to Charles “Charlie” Eugene Clark and Shirley King Clark. She graduated from Crest Senior High School, Class of 1979.

Sherry was known for her bubbly personality and infectious smile. Truly her father’s daughter, she never met a stranger. She had a deep passion for her work and saw beauty in everyone and everything.

Above all else, Sherry was a devoted wife, a loving and proud mother, and a cherished grandmother who found her greatest joy in making memories with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ron Creech; her three sons—Dallas and his partner, Sarah; Houston and his wife, Chanity; and Austin. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Bronson, Ayden, and Ella; as well as her three brothers—Richard and his wife, Linda; Keith and his wife, Martha; and Terry and his wife, Sherrie.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charlie and Shirley Clark.

Visitation will be held on January 13, 2026, from 11 am-12 pm at Cleveland Funeral Services, followed immediately by a funeral service in the chapel and a graveside service at Cleveland Memorial Park.
