Shawn Lee Anderson

   Rev. Shawn Anderson, age 54, of Ellenboro, NC received his abundant entrance through Heaven’s Gate escorted by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 9, 2026 at CMC surrounded by his loving family.

   Shawn was born on February 9, 1972, in Gastonia, NC to the Late Carson Anderson and Betty Jean Wallace.

   He is survived by his Loving and devoted wife, Pamela Anderson, 2 Sons Dustyn Anderson of Belmont, NC and William Hay and wife Alexis of Shelby, NC, and a daughter Elizabeth (Beth) Hay of the home. Shawn also had 5 grandchildren, Makyla Williams, Aubrey Williams, Chloe Vandyke, Addie Hay, Walker Hay. 4 Sisters, Evelyn Owensby and husband Rick of Kings Mountain, NC. Rebecca Bowen, Blacksburg, SC. Dana Rohlfing and Husband Max of Salisbury, NC. Terri Gardin and Husband Wayne of Stanley, NC. And many Nieces and Nephews.

   Shawn was first and foremost a Child of God. He served as Assistant Pastor and Adult Sunday School Teacher at Way of the Cross Baptist Church on Broad Street in Shelby, NC. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Shawn had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making everyone laugh. He was employed by Fuller Construction Company.

   The Family will receive friends at the home of His Uncle and Aunt in Kings Mountain. A celebration of life will be held 2:00pm Saturday July 18, 2026, at Way of the Cross Baptist Church 226 Broad Street in Shelby, NC conducted by Rev. Robert Mote, Rev. William Hay, and Rev. David Mellon.
