Ruth Wilkie

Mrs. Wilkie's parents were the late Rodney Justice Hamrick & Cora Alice McKee Hamrick. She was also preceeded in death by her husband for nearly 70 years Manie Marvin Wilkie, a sister Mildred Hamrick and a brother Howard Hamrick.
Shelis survived by one son Ludy Marvin Wilkie, a nephew Mike Lattimore, several nieces, good neighbors Willie & Brenda Goforth.
She was retired from First National Bank of Shelby and a longtime member of Ascension Lutheran Church where she served for years on the Social Ministry Committee. During the 1950's she was President of the P.T.A. at Jefferson School.
