Roy Lail

Mr. Lail was retired from Lily Mill Co. after 50 years service as a trxtile thread color coordinator and served in the U. S. Army during WW II in Italy. He was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church, on the Deacon Board, and attended and had a special love for Hudson Memorial Baptist Church.
Mr. Lail was preceeded in death by his parents, Robert Narion Norman & Annie Lail Poole, and was raised by his grandparents, Jake & Alice Lail. He was also preceeded in death by a brother Lloyd Poole.
Mr. Lail is survived by his wife of 61 years Florence Hudson Lail of the home, a son & wife Bobby Lail & Hilda of Mooresboro, daughters & husbands, Sheila Earls & Stephen of Boiling Springs, Kay Drewery & Lewis of Shelby; sisters & husbands Helen McFarland & Pete, Mozelle Blanton & Benny of Cherryville, Ruth Norman Baxter & J.D. of Lincolnton, Charlotte Norman Lefler & Wesley of Concord, Muriel Norman Bradley of Charlotte. A brother & wife Robert Norman Jr. & Helen of Belwood, NC.
Grandchildren are; Shane Earls, Stacey McRorie, Wesley Lail, Lori Lail, Katie Drewery & Jamie Drewery.
Great Grandchildren are; Luke, Brett, Trey, Madison & Cameron. Special thanks to cousins; Roy P. Lail & Brenda Hopps.
