Ronnie Morgan

Mr. Morgan, 65, of 1213 Ross Road, Blackstock, SC, formally of Cleveland & Gaston counties passed away Wednesday March 4, 2009 at VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC.

A native of Cleveland County, NC, he had worked for Shelby Police Department and retired from the Gaston County Police where he was a senior patrolman. He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Cherryville, , NC and was an avid fisherman and deer hunter. He was a veteran of the U.S.Army where he served in Korea.

Mr. Morgan was preceeded in death by his parents John Morgan & Mae Bell Wortman Morgan.

Mr. Morgan is survived by a son Brandon Morgan of Blackstock, SC, a sister and her husband Sandy M. Crane & Ronnie of Mooresboro, NC, three brothers Ray Morgan of Shelby, NC, Stan Morgan and wife Wanda of Fayetteville, NC, and Scott Morgan of Cary, NC. His is also survived by a grandson Nicholas Morgan and a granddaughter Amanda Morgan.

Funeral Services will be conducted by Rev. Mike Statton.
