Robert Marion Lovelace

Robert Lovelace, 79, of White Oak Manor, Shelby, died Tuesday, October 29, 2024. He resided at White Oak since June 2022.

 Robert was a native of Shelby and was born on December 7, 1944. He formerly resided in Patton Oaks of Shelby and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. 

 Robert worked for the North Carolina Department of Transportation for thirty years and retired in 1997. He enjoyed crafting and camping. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Malina Lovelace. 

 Surviving is his wife of fifty-five years, Barbara Lovelace and special cousins, Pam Harris and Ted Williams.

 A graveside service will be held at 11:00am Friday, November 1, 2024, at Cleveland Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Mike Frazier.
