Rita Matheson

Mrs. Rita Ball Matheson, 58, of Kings Mountain, went to be

with the Lord on October 9, 2012, at Kings Mountain Hospital.

A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late

Everette Ball & Morine Greene Ball.  She was also preceded in

death by her husband, Terry Matheson.



Mrs. Matheson was the owner & operator of State Cab Company.

She attended Kings Mountain First Baptist Church.  She was always

a kind hearted giving mother who loved helping others.

She enjoyed working in her flowers, nature and watching birds.

She was an excellent care giver for her mom for a number of years.



She is survived by her son, Dillon Matheson of Kings Mountain;

daughter, April Cameron and husband, Mark of Lake Wylie, SC;

two sisters, Carol Lovelace & husband, Wayne of Lattimore, and

Sue Wilcox & husband, Richard of Polkville; and grandchildren,

Brandon Matheson, Lance Cameron and Jenna Cameron.



The family will receive friends at:

Thursday, October 11, 2012, 6:00 - 8:00 pm.



The funeral will be held in the:

Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel

Friday, at 2:00 pm.

Dr. John Sloan, Jr.  will officiate



Burial will be in Cleveland Memorial Park.
