R. Watkins

Mr. Watkins was the son of the late Clarence & Bonnie Dotson Watkins and retired from ILWU in Long Beach, CA. as a Longshore clerk. He was also a World War II veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceeded in death by his wife, Muriel Watkins, a daughter Dianne Raney and sisters; Doris Moss, Carolyn Newton and Martha Wortman.
He is survived by a brother, Joe Watkins and wife Debbie of Shelby, NC, two sisters Virginia Cobb of Cliffside and Grace Cannon of Clinton, SC; a son Wendell "Pete" Stafford of San Pedro, CA; three granddaughters, Michelle Raney of Lakewood, CA, Wendy Hill of North Hollywood, CA, and Christine Neisser of Lake Coral, FLA. and five great grandchildren.
