Pauline Bowen

Mrs. Bowen, 82, of 3726 Robert Riddings Rd. Shelby, NC, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Hospice of Cleveland County. A native of Cleveland County, she was a homemaker and a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bowen was preceeded in death by her parents Fitzhugh Guy Ellis and Linnie Lois Wilson Ellis. She is also preceeded in death by a brother Dennis Ellis and a sister Dorothy Ellis.

Mrs. Bowen is survived by her husband Howard Victor Bowen of the home, a son John Howard Bowen, a daughter Catherine Bowen Mull and grandchildren Kesha Porter & husband Dale, Gregory Mull, Victor Bowen & Dawn Bowen all of Shelby and a brother Donald Ellis and wife Pat of Gastonia. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Jimmy Black and Rev. Phil Hughes.
