Patsy Joyce Crane Pittman

Mrs. Patsy Joyce Crane Pittman, age 91 of Mooresboro, NC, passed away Friday, November 29, 2024, surrounded by her family.

 She is survived by her children, Doug Pittman (Joanne) of Lattimore, NC, Dennis Pittman (Mary) of Gastonia, NC, Lugene Moore of Mooresboro, NC, Kelly Pittman (Barbara) of Bloomfield, NM, and Glenda Beck (Ricky) of Shelby, NC, twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, thirteen great great grandchildren, and a sister, Jewel of Athens, GA.

 Born February 22, 1933, in Gwinett County, GA, Patsy was the daughter of the late John Bartow Crane and Ethyl Bailey Crane and was preceded in death by her loving husband of 28 years, Grover Thomas Pittman, and 10 siblings, Grady, Bobbie, Mary, Clare Mae, Randal, Bea, Bill, Jane, Frank, and Johnny.

 Patsy has been a caregiver all her life taking care of her brothers and sisters starting at the age of 8. She enjoyed sewing, making quilts, thrift store shopping, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. Patsy was one of the charter members of Crestview Baptist Church where she sung in the choir and a former member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Patsy was a strong Christian woman that showed unconditional love to her family and anyone she met. 

 A funeral service will be held 3:00pm Monday, December 2, 2024, at Crestview Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Artie Hubbard. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
