Omie Short

Mrs. Short, 88, of Shelby, NC, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009 at her home. She was a homemaker and member of Manna Baptist Church.
Mrs. Short was preeded in death by her parents Hamlet Smith Harvey & Niecy Hood Harvey, eight sisters and brothers.
Mrs. Short is survived by her husband George Palmer Short of the home, two daughters and their husbands; Renae S. Harwell & Michael of Denton, NC, and Lark S. Swafford & Allan of Shelby, NC. In addition to these she is survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Andy Stevens & Rev. Reed Jones.
