Nelson Elliott

Mr. Elliott, 74, of Polkville, NC, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. Mr. Elliott had worked for Royster Oil Company and was a member of Big Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Elliott was preceded in death by his parents Val Elliott & Nettie Gwendolyn Jones Elliott, a brother Hughlan Elliott, and a brother-in-law Bob Horne. Mr. Elliott is survived by two sisters, Sara Hill & husband James of Rock Hill, SC, and Katherine Horne, a sister-in-law Roberta Elliott and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Paul Scott. Memorials may be made to Cleveland Rutherford Kidney Association, 1017 North Washington Street, Shelby, NC 28150.
