Nellie Bridges

Mrs. Bridges, 97, was a homemaker, and a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Ellenboro, NC.
She was preceeded in death by her father & mother; Richard Jacob O'Connor & Mary Barnette O'Connor. She was also preceeded in death by her husband, Charles Oris Bridges; a son Steve Bridges; a grandson Charles Jason Bridges; a brother Barney O'Connor, and three sisters, Lola Moss, Vera Swarengin, and Beatrice Robbins.
Her survivors are, a son & wife; Charles D. Bridges & Joyce of Shelby, a sister Marjorie Wallen of Asheville, a Grandson Chip Bridges of Black Mountain, granddaughters; Diane Bridges of Black Mountain, and Heather Plummer & husbandMM1SW/AW Brian. She is also survived by great grandchildren; Lauren, Gracie & Zack Moore, & Nicholas Plummer. She is also survived by a number of nieces & nephews.
