Mrs. Shytle, a native of Cleveland County was a member of Martin Street United Methodist Church. She had worked for the Shelby Police Department as a crossing guard for Graham Elementary School for 19 years. Effectionately known as "Mannie" by her grandchildren, she was a very loving Mother, wonderful grandmother and a precious friend to many. She was the best biscuit cooker in town.
Mrs. Shytle was preceeded in death by her parents; Ruben Charles Jones & Allie Novella McSwain Jones, brothers; Steve Jones & Ruben Jones Jr., sisters; Frances Carpenter, Mildred Lail & Rosie Lee Allen.
Mrs. Shytle is survived by her husband Gene Shytle of the home, a daughter and her husband Marsha Shytle Babb & Eddie of Shelby, a son and his wife Chip Shytle & Evelyn of Laurinburg, NC, and grandchildren; Billy Crowder& wife Michelle, Michael Crowder & wife Lynne', Kitch & Grand Deaton, Mary Elizabeth Shytle, Will Shytle and Katie Shytle; step-grandchildren Becky Thorne & Rodney Babb. She is also survived by a sister-in-law & brother-in-law Peggy & Max Wallace and 10 great grandchildren.
