Marcus William Morton

 Mr. Marcus William Morton, age 69 of Shelby, NC, passed away Tuesday December 17, 2024, at Atrium Health in Shelby.

 He is survived by his wife of 47 Years, Patricia L. Morton of the home, his children, Valarie Farias of Knoxville, TN, and Janet McDonald and husband Mario of Cooper City, FL, and a grandson, Miles McDonald of Cooper City, FL.

 Born January 27, 1955, in Cleveland County, NC, Marcus was the son of the late William Chester Morton and Margaret Carroll Morton and was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Chester Morton.

 Marcus was a loving husband, devoted father, and loyal friend. His passion was riding motorcycles. 

 A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Cleveland Funeral Services.
