Mabel Hunt

Mrs. Mabel Hamrick Coats Hunt, 87, of Shelby passed away on August 8, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County, she was retired from PPG and Pendleton's Speed & Custom where she was a bookkeeper and secretary. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church where she was a member of the Pleasanteers, Senior Department secretary and Mrs. Holbrook's Sunday School Class. Mabel was a wonderful, very loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Zeb N. Hamrick & Eva Webb Hamrick, stepdaughter Sheila Cole, brothers Hubert, Buford & Bernard Hamrick and sisters Ruth Greene, Kathleen Southard & Grace Eskridge. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Brevard Hunt of the home, daughter Sheila C. Bolin & Richard of Kings Mountain;stepsons Wayne Hunt & Robbie of Earl and Danny Hunt of Gaffney.
