Linda Smith

   Linda Smith entered her heavenly home on September 7, 2026 escorted by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

   She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude A White and Lula Ramsey White. 2 brothers, Von and Johnnie White.

   Her memory will be cherished by 5 Sons, Eddie Mote and Emily of Cameron, NC, Robert Mote and Renea of Kings Mountain, NC; Donnie Mote and Lisa of Stanley, NC; Duane “Pup” Mote and Nicole of Shelby, NC and Billy Smith (Rebecca) of Dallas, NC, 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. 3 sisters; Selma Beaver(Virgil) of Shelby, NC; Sarah Hall of Forest City, NC; Sybil Blanton of Lawndale, NC and 1 Brother, Freddie White of Pisgah Forest, NC. And many Nieces and Nephews.

   Linda retired from Ingles Markets where she made the best donuts ever. She was a Member of Way of the Cross on Broad Street in Shelby, NC.

   Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on September 10, 2026, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Cleveland Funeral Services in Shelby. Her funeral service will Friday, September 11, at 11:00 am at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Robert Mote and Eulogy by her sons, Eddie, Donnie, Pup, and Billy. Burial will follow after the service at Polkville Baptist Church.
