Lela Washburn

Mrs. Washburn was a homemaker. She wasa member of Double Springs Baptist Chruch, WMU and a volunteer for the Double Springs Day Care. She served as a volunteer missionary to Zambia, Poland, Israel and many sites in the United States. She also was a Republican Party Poll Manager.
Mrs. Washburn was preceeded in death by her parents Willard Buren McSwain & Millie Taylor McSwain, brothers Ernest McSwain and Phate McSwain, a sister Hester Lovelace Justus.
Mrs. Washburn is survived by her husband Gaines B. Washburn of the home, daughters Yvonne W. Nordeen & husband Rex of New Ellenton. SC, Gloria W. Piquette & husband John of N. Augusta, SC, Annette Burnett & husband Steven of Barnwell, SC, a son Gabriel C. Washburn & wife Cindy of Six Mile, SC. She is also survived by a sister Ruth Whisnant of Indiana, and a brother Buren McSwain & wife Minerva of Charlotte. Mrs. Washburn is also survived by Grandchildren; Stacy Reinhardt, Christopher Nordeed & wife Alicia, Keith Nordeen, Kelly Nordeen, Michael Piquette, Anne Myers & husband Bryan, Aaron Washburn, Hannah Washburn, Delanie Washburn, David Burnette & Adrian Swain & husband Charlie.
