Kimberly Nicole Clark

Kimberly Nicole Clark, age 40 of Shelby, NC, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Atrium Health in Kings Mountain.

 She is survived by her love, Danny Allen of the home, her children, Gloria Santos of Gastonia, NC, Emalee Santos of Gastonia, NC, and Drelan Clark of Gastonia, NC, siblings, Sandra Clark and her son, Cole Hastings of Cherryville, NC, Dana Borders and her daughter Willow Church of Shelby, NC, Daniel Clark and his daughter Shayla of Kansas, Johnny Clark and wife Jennifer and their children, Heaven and her Husband Josh of Shelby, NC, Lonnie Clark and her children, Madison Crawford, Claudia Crawford, and Scarlet Clark of Shelby, NC, Beth Ann Gibert and her husband Brian and their children Hailie Gibert and Tyler Gibert of Rutherfordton, NC, Eddie Towery of Rutherfordton, NC. 

 Born March 18, 1984, in Cleveland County, NC, Kimberly is the daughter of Loretta Ann Lyons Cashatt and her husband Tim of Lexington, NC, and the late Danny Clyde Clark and was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ted and Nancy Borders and Buck Clark.

 Kimberly lived as she died. That one sentence speaks volumes about our sister, mother, child, grandchild, and friend. She was spontaneous and bright as was her beautiful blue eyes. Like all of us she fell short but with that she grew and evolved into the woman we loved. Kimberly (Nikki to those of us who knew her well) sparked emotions and feelings you never knew you had. Everyone who loved her at some point was at their wits end with her. Instead of always being a character defect, it marked one more reason to love her. Strange but true, Kimberly Nicole Santos Clark, you are beautiful in life inside and out and now that beauty will be immortalized in Heaven till our many loved ones gone before us. We love them and we’ll see them one day. Rest easy of all your pain and troubles. Nikki, some of us have many regrets, but at the end of the day, we were family and we love you.

  A celebration of Life service will be held 3:00pm Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at A Glimpse of The Kingdom Ministries, 702 Buffalo Street in Shelby.
