Karen Bennett

Mrs. Karen Bennett, age 44, died Monday, July 9, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Winnsboro, SC, to Rev. William Douglas Bennett and Rev. Vivian Jean Hickerson Bennett. She was a member of Claiming the Word Ministries in Grover, NC, and House of Prayer Church, and worked as a C.N.A., and a cashier at various restaurants.



She was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Bennett and one sister, Margaret Joann Wylie.



In addition to her parents, she is survived by three sons, Jeffrey Scott Bennett of Shelby, Phillip Wright of Shelby and Brandon Pugh of Shelby; one daughter, Shauna Philbeck of Shelby; two sisters, Pat Courtney of Blacksburg SC., and Kathy Crocker of Gaffney, SC; one grandson, Skyler Philbeck; the love of her life David Wylie and numerouse aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
