Junior Self

Mr. Self was a native of Rutherford County, and retired from Dover Mill Company, and was also a farmer and member of Gantts Grove Baptist Church in Mooresboro, NC.
Mr. Self's was preceeded in death by his parents, James Andrew Self & Hester Street Self, two brothers; Alfred Self & David Self, a half-brother Clyde Self, half-sisters Hattie Champion & Naomi Simmons.
Mr. Self is survived by his wife of 59 years Mildred Allen Self of the home, two daughters and their husbands; Wanda & Stan Schenkel of Gaffney, SC, Cheryl & Dwight Reid of Greenville, SC, and a sister Ollie Kanipe of Rutherfordton, NC. Grandchildren; Jessica Camp & husband Philip of Madison, NC, Christa Schenkel of Lexington, KY, Paul Schenkel & Miranda Schenkel of Gaffney, SC, Matthew Reid & Jonathan Reid of Greenville, SC. Great Grandchildren; Kaela Camp & Kieren Camp of Madison, NC
