John Brown

Mr. Brown, 65, of Dravo Road, Shelby, NC, passed away Friday, November 11, 2011. A native of York County, SC, Mr. Brown was a retired auto body technician. Mr. Brown was a member of Lafayette Street United Methodist Church and served in the National Guard. Mr. Brown is preceded in death by his parents Robert Jackson Brown and Lynn Latham Brown, a brother Mike Brown and a sister Janet Smith. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife Virginia Mode Brown of the home, three sons; Chris Brown, Will Brown both of the home, Shane Brown of Blacksburg, SC, a daughter Jennifer thompson of Blacksburg, SC, a grandson Trent Brown of the home, and three sisters Pat Ramsey of York, SC, Ruth Acuff of Columbia, SC, and Susan Dominick of Manning, SC.
