Jerry Annas

Mr. Annas, 70, of 168 Eastwood Village Drive, Bostic, NC, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at his home. A native of Hilderbrand, NC, he retired from Ingles Supermarket where he was the meat department manager. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Ellenboro, a mason and a shriner. He also served in the U. S. Army. Mr. Annas was preceeded in death by his parents Douglas Leroy Annas and Mabel McNeely Annas, a step-daughter Ann Sprouse and a brother Jim Annas. Mr. Annas is survived by his wife Joanne Sailors Campbell Annas of the home, two daughters and their husbands; Tawanna Padgett & Roger, Teresa Smart & Dan both of Shelby, NC, two sons and their wives; Tallent Annas & Angie, of Boiling Springs, NC and Tracy Annas & Beth of Gaffney, SC. In addition to these Mr. Annas is also survived by two step-daughters and their husbands; Lynn Heneks & Ray of Kernersville, NC, and Terri Jo Frashier & Todd of Harris, NC, two sisters Betty Steelman & husband Guy of Connelly Springs, NC, and Linda Whisnant of Icard, NC. Mr. Annas also has 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted by the Revs. David Easler & Ron Williams.
