Mr. Scott Page, 53, of Shelby, NC, passed away at Carolinas Medical Center, Tuesday,
November 13, 2012. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Wilburn
Lee Page and Grace Newton Adams. Scott retired from the Cleveland County Sheriff's
Department where he was a detention officer. Scott was a very outgoing person and
a good friend not only to his family but also to anyone who knew him. He was of the
Baptist faith and a former member of Shanghai Volunteer Fire Department.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Wesley Page and a
brother-in-law, Ken Heafner.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Debra Hollifield Page of the home; a
daughter, Carman Deanne Page & Anthony E. Hawkins of Mooresboro; one brother,
Roger Page & Juanita of Shelby; and two sisters, Jeni Heafner & Jackie Wilson of
Shelby; grandchildren, Bradley Scott Hawkins, Brianna Grace Hawkins, Christina
Phillips, Dustin Hawkins, Shayleigh Hawkins and Anthony Hawkins. He is also survived
by a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Faith Baptist Church, Friday, November 16th, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
Celebration of Life: Faith Baptist Church at 1:00 pm following the visitation
Officiating: Rev. Johnny Owens
