Jean Richard

Mrs. Richard, 71, of Shelby, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011 at her home. She was a native of Lancaster, SC, and was a retired textile worker where she worked in the finishing department. Mrs. Richard was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Mrs. Richard was preceded in death by her parents Havana Davis & Ola Dellman Davis, a daughter Deana Wright, and brothers Otis, James M., Billy Von, and Raymond Davis. Mrs. Richard is survived by her husband Forrest "Don" Davis of the home, a daughter Peggy Elswick of Johnson City, Tenn., two step-sons John Richard and wife Necole of Shelby, and Daniel Richard and fiance Anjanette Lorini of Bessemer City, NC. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
