Irene Grigg

Mrs. Grigg, 97, was a native of Cherokee County, SC, retired from the Esther Mill, and a member of Ross Grove Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Richard Alexander Ford & Ozora Victoria Clary Ford. In addition to her parents she was preceeded in death by her husband Nollie Justice Grigg, a daughter Joyce Grigg Whisnant and 7 sisters and 2 brothers.
Mrs. Grigg is survived by a daughter Harriette Grigg of the home, a son and wife Ford Grigg & Vi of Charleston, SC, a son-in-law Charles Whisnant of Shelby, NC, also grandsons and wives; James Grigg & Keenan of Charleston, SC, Scott Whisnant & Wanda of Raleigh, NC, John Whisnant & Susan of Shelby, NC, and Jodi Grigg of Denver, NC, a granddaughter and husband Elizabeth Rogers and John of Shelby. In addition to these she is also survived by six great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
