Hix Toney

Mr. Toney's parents were the late Julius & Marilla Biggerstaff Toney. Mr. Toney was preceeded in death by seven brothers; Elbert Toney, Vance Toney, Miles Toney, Virgil Toney, Edley Toney, Fred Toney and Fay Toney, two sisters Louisa Ledford & Carrie Toney. Mr. Toney is survived by his wife Virginia Yelton Toney, a son Danny Hix Toney, daughters and husbands; Barbara T. Holland & Bill, Beckie T. Kerr & Richard, Connie T. Alberghini & Craig and Joyce T. Davis. Mr. Toney is survived by one brother Grady Toney and grandchildren, Dr. Jennifer H. Merritt, Amy E. Davis, Allison V. Kerr, Shelby A. Kerr, Tyler A. Alberghini, Nash L. Alberghini and Bryce J. Alberghini. Mr. Toney was a retired farmer and a member of Campfield Memorial Baptist Church, where he served as a decaon and past Sunday School Teacher in the Junior Boys Department. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and served in WWII in the 39th. Infantry and he received the Purple Heart.
