Guy Suttle

Mr. Guy Newton Suttle, Jr., 76, of Shelby, NC, passed away on January 10, 2013, at Hospice of Cleveland County. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Guy Newton Suttle & Eugene Wilkins Suttle. Mr. Suttle was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church where he served on the offering committee as well as others. He was an employee of PPG for thirty-nine years, seven months. A veteran of the U. S. Air Force, he served in Germany. Guy loved his family very much. He was very sports minded and was especially proud of his son's accomplishments and Guy loved his wife dearly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Linda M. Suttle; one son, Guy Newton Suttle, III and wife Donna of Shelby; a sister-in-law, Brenda West and husband Charles of Cameron; several nieces and nephews; and many loyal friends.
