Fred Allen

A native of Cleveland County, Mr. Allen was the son of the late

Toy Gilbert Allen, Sr. & Laura Rhoda Chappell Allen.  He retired from Doran Textiles

where he was a weaver.



In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Toy G.

Allen, Jr., Billy Eugene Allen & Frank Allen.  He is survived by two sisters, Ann Smith of

Shelby and Nancy Spurlin & husband, Gary of Fallston; two sisters-in-law, Genevieve

Allen of Lexington & Jonnie Allen of Shelby.



Also survived by five nephews, four nieces and several great nieces & nephews.
