Faye Albea

Mrs. Albea, 66, of Shelby, passed away Monday, April 13, 2009 at Carolina's Medical Center in Charlotte. A native of Cleveland County, Mrs. Albea had worked for Esther & Ora Mills. She was a member of Mulls Memorial Baptist Church & the Joy Sunday School Class. Mrs. Albea was preceeded in death by her parents Rufus Ervin Mellon & Evelyn Tessneer Mellon, her husband Lennie Gilbert Albea, and a sister Margaret Tessneer.

Mrs. Albea is survived by a daughter Lynn Camp, a son Steve Albea both of the home, a son Lewis Albea & Donna Pack of Shelby, a brother Ralph Mellon & wife Doris of Shelby, sisters Ruth Mellon & husband Willie of Shelby, Verl Cash & friend Ralph Sain of Shelby and Dot Hunt & husband Clyde of Lawndale. Her grand children are Christy Camp Vassey & husband Shane, Rachel Albea, and Mandy Albea Johnson & husband Kevin all of Shelby. Great grandchildren are Ethan Mullinax & Haiden Vassey. She is also survived by a special niece and her husband Terry Dixon & Don along with a number of other nieces and nephews.
