Evelyn Roche

Mrs. Roche, 90, of 1205 Starlight Drive, Shelby, passed away Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008 at White Oak Manor in Shelby. A native of Decatur, Ill. she was preceeded in death by her parents, Otto Rudolph Salefski & Bertha Augusta Wittek, husband Charles Hansel Roche and 2 sisters and 1 brother. She was a homemaker and a member of Asscension Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Roche is survived by a son and his wife Richard "Dick" Roche & Karen of Thomasville, NC, a daughter Judy Bridges of the home, a granddaughter Cheryl Miller of Charlotte, and three grandsons David Miller of Charlotte, Jeff Roche of Rock Hill, SC, Andrew Roche of Las Vagas, Nev.
Memorials made be made to the Ascension Lutheran Church, 300 N. Lafayette St., Shelby, NC 28150.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Jeff Erbskorn.
