Evelyn Cook

A native of Cleveland County, NC, Mrs. Cook was a homemaker & textile worker, and a member of the Truth Church.
Mrs. Cook is preceeded in death by her paarents; Bishop Marvin Leonhart & Ida Trent Barrett Leonhart, and her husband Rev. Carl Ray Cook Sr., and a son Carl Ray Cook Jr. , and three brothers and one sister.
Mrs. Cook is survived by two sons; James "Jimmy" Cook of Shelby, and Marvin Cook and wife Doris of Kings Mountain, NC, a daughter Carolyn K. "Sissy" Allen and husband Roy of Gaffney, SC, and a sister Catherine Black of Grover, NC. She is also survived by grandchildren; Joseph Cook, Tiara Wolf, Kristy Terry, and Loretta Mull, and 5 great grandchildren.
