Ernest Eugene Parker Jr.

Mr. Ernest Parker Jr., age 62 of Shelby, NC, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family.

 He is survived by his wife, Tracey Parker of the home, his children, Chris Parker of Concord, NC, and Alyssa McClain of Shelby, NC, two sisters, Dianne Renee Parker Rice and husband Daniel of Concord, NC, and Janet Lynn Hailey and husband Harold of Troutman, NC.

 Born January 10, 1962, in Cabarrus County, NC, Ernest was the son of Ernest Eugene Parker Sr. and Vera Ruth Beach Parker and was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Wayne Parker.

 Ernest, better known as “Jr.” was a loving husband, father, and brother. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching old tv shows, and spending time with his family and friends. Jr. was the kind of person that brought a smile to everyone’s face that came across him. He was an honest hardworking man that would do anything for his family. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

 Due to unforeseen weather, the Celebration of Life service has been rescheduled to  2:00pm Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Cleveland Funeral Services conducted by Rev. Danielle Susigan.
