E.J. Beaver

Mr. E.J. Beaver, Jr., 73, was born in Cleveland County to the late Ernest Jesse Beaver & Nina Mae Davis Beaver. He was a member of Big Springs Baptist Church in Hollis and served in the U.S. Army. He was stationed in Germany as a military policeman. He retired from Fiber Industries after 35 years of service as a maintenance engineer. Mr. Beaver loved gardening, traveling and watching basketball and racing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Melinda Shope and two great-great-grandchildren Darian Felton and Hannah Alexander.



He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Barbara S. Beaver, a son Kevin F. Beaver & wife Tammi of Ellenboro; a daughter, Angela Morgan of South Carolina; two step-daughters, Cindy Felton of Belmont and Donna Shope of Mt. Holly; two step-sons, Ricky Barnes & wife Lisa of High Point and Ronnie Davis of Gilky; two sisters, Betty Dodson & husband Hansel of Ellenboro and Lib Jackson & husband Earl of Polkville. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
