Doug Monroe

Mr. Monroe was the founder of Monroe Tire Service Inc.in 1974. He was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was preceeded in death by his parents; C.A. "Add" Monroe & Vernie Threatt Monroe, and also preceeded in death by a brother; Gene Monroe.
Mr. Monroe is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nancy Holland Monroe of the home, a son and his wife, Chris & Susie Monroe of Shelby, brothers and wives; Jim & Barbara Monroe & David & Gaye Monroe all of Shelby.
