Dorothy Hamilton

Mrs. Dorothy B. Hamilton, 81, of Shelby, NC passed away on April 23, 2011 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Cleveland Co., she retired from Doran Mill & was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Glenn Barrett & Floise Davis Barrett and a brother, Hagen Barrett. She is survived by a daughter, Jean Funderburk & husband Buddy of Lincolnton; sons, Isreal hamilton & wife Kimberly of Waco; Curtis Hamilton & wife Donna of Shelby; sisters, Sue Putnam of Grover, Verie Grigg of Shelby; brother, Charles Barrett of Shelby; granddaughters, Sara Fink of Kannapolis, Kimberly hamilton of Waco, Amber Smith of Lincolnton; grandsons, Michael Funderburk of Lincolnton, Johnny Hamilton of Kings Mountain, Jason Hamilton of Mooresboro, Wesley Hamilton of Charlotte and 8 great grandchildren.
