Donald Deaton

Mr. Donald Ray Deaton, 70, of Mooresboro, NC, passed away at his home

on October 23, 2012.  He was the son of the late Howard Vester Deaton &

Inez Green Deaton and was also preceded in death by his wife, Jean

LuEllen Deaton and four brothers, Howard, Ernest, Vernon & Tommy Deaton.



Mr. Deaton loved baseball, Nascar and dirt track racing.  He also enjoyed

working in the garden and being outdoors.  He was a member of New Buffalo

Baptist Church.



Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Bradley & husband, Jimmy of Kings Mountain;

brother, Vick Deaton & wife, Sarah of Mooresboro, two sisters, Mary Padgett of Forest City &

Janie Buff of Boiling Springs; grandchildren, Jeffrey Bradley & Laura Blanton;

great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Bradley & Mason Bradley; nephews, Charles, Scott

& Troy Deaton; nieces, Tina & Rena Deaton, Robin Sellers, nephews, Joel

Buff, Eddie Padgett & Mark Padgett, and several other nieces and nephews.
