Cynthia Manning

Mrs. Cynthia Cloyd Manning, 79, of Forest City, NC, passed away

at Hospice House of Rutherford County, on 10-13-2012.  A native

of Columbia, SC, she had worked as a newspaper illustration

artist, office manager at an insurance agency and owned a

used book store.



She was the daughter of the late James Alexander Cloyd and

Katherine Becker Cloyd; deceased husband, Malcom McDowell

Manning; a brother, Walter Herman Garbade, and a sister,

Barbara Ann Cloyd Griffis.  She is survived by special friends,

Doug Lail, Norma Williams, Donnis  Toms, Cathy Hamilton,

Lorene O'Dell and Pat Black.



The family would like to express a very special thanks to the

staff of Hospice House of Rutherford County for the support and

excellent care given Mrs. Manning.



The family will receive friends at

Cleveland Funeral Services & Crematory on Wednesday,

October 17, 2012  6:00-7:00 pm with the funeral

following in the chapel at7:00 pm.



The Rev. Coby Davis will officiate.
