Clifford Mccurry

Mr. McCurry's parents were the late William S. McCurry & Olney Champion McCurry. He was also preceeded in death by two sisters; Catherine Mizell & Elizabeth Debrew. Mr. McCurry served in the U.S. Army during W W II with the 7th. Division in Okinawa and then Korea.He retired from Porter Brothers after 32 years as assistant secretary and treasurer. Mr. McCurry was a lifetime member of Second Baptist Church of Shelby.
Mr. McCurry is survived by his wife of 56 years Doris Hughes McCurry and a son Benjamin McCurry; a daughter and husband Ellen & Randy Broome all of Shelby. Brothers Bill McCurry of Earl, NC, and Don McCurry of Shelby, NC; sisters Jo Hester of Shelby, Jane Harris of Charlotte, NC. Grandchildren Laura & Kim McCurry and their mother Thea McCurry.
