Clayton Edward Schoenholz

Mr. Clayton Edward Schoenholz, age 54 of Shelby, NC, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at his residence.

He is survived by his fiancée, Heather Wells of the home, his children, Jonathan Schoenholz (TJ) of Maiden, NC, Joshua Schoenholz (Keeanna) of Charlotte, NC, and Alex Schoenholz of Earl, NC, a granddaughter, Brooklyn Schoenholz of Gastonia, NC, two sisters, Tasha Boone of Shelby, NC, and Mistina Tollison of Shelby, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Born October 26, 1970, in Orlando, Florida, Clayton was the son of Michael Schoenholz and Maxine Swearingen Schoenholz. Clayton enjoyed playing his bass guitar and listening to music, traveling to Vogel State Park, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his granddaughter, Brooklyn. He was known as a jokester to his friends. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

A celebration of life service will be held 2:00pm Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel.
