Clara Rollins

A native of Cleveland County, she retired from Blanton's Variety Store where she worked in sales. A member of Lafayette Street United Methodist Church, she was a member of the Wesley Fellowship Class, United Methodist Women, former choir member and Sunday School Teacher in the Primary Department.
Mrs. Rollins was preceeded in death by her parents; Marvin Blanton Sr. & Cora Bost Blanton. Her husband Dwight Rollins also preceeded her in death, alon with her stepmother; Elizabeth Moss Blanton, brothers; Harvey Blanton, Marvin Blanton Jr., and Bill Blanton, sisters; Bleaka Kerr, Winnie Harris & Edith Carter, and a son-in-law Tom McSwain.
Mrs. Rollins is survived by two daughters; Judie R. McSwain of Simpsonville, SC, and Nancy R. McGhee and husband Richard of Newton, NC. She has one brother Carl Blanton and his wife Jean of Charlotte, NC, and a sister Marveta McGinnis of Cherryville, NC.Her grandchildren are: Jill Deyton and husband Max, Nichole McGhee & Alex McGhee, and great grandchildren; Stephen Deyton & wife April & Neill Deyton. In addition she is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
