Cindy Ruppe Blanton

 Cindy Ruppe Blanton, age 45 of Shelby, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 3rd, 2025, peacefully with her husband, Curtis Blanton by her side. 

 She is survived by her husband of Twenty Years, Curtis Blanton, their son, Pete Blanton of Shelby, NC, a brother Robbie Ruppe (Angie) of Shelby, NC, a special friend, Adley Robertson of Shelby, NC, multiple aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces, Hannah Ruppe, and Jessica Turner (Robbie), and nephews, RJ Ruppe, and Bradley Turner (Christy), and a great niece, Kayleigh Turner. 

 Born March 28, 1979, in Cleveland County, NC, Cindy was the daughter of the late Ronnie Ruppe and Ellen Morehead.

 Cindy was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, caregiver, and friend. Cindy worked as a teacher at Creative Kidz Playschool in Shelby, NC for thirteen years. Cindy was a member of Sulphur Springs Methodist Church, Shelby, NC, in which she enjoyed helping with the church choir, loved cooking and helping with the church’s BBQ’s. She was an avid supporter of Tammy Arrowood’s Stars of Tomorrow dance studio. Cindy was the true definition of a caregiver, loved those around her dearly, and she was always caught with a smile on her face. 

  A visitation will be held from 4:00pm – 6:00pm Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Cleveland Funeral Services in Shelby.  A funeral service will be held at 10:00am Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Sulphur Springs Methodist Church, Shelby, NC conducted by Rev. Kathy Houser and Rev. Buddy Morehead. Burial to follow the service at Sulphur Springs Methodist Church, Shelby, NC.
