Cheryl Petty

Miss Cheryl Susan Petty, 44, of Shelby, NC died on August 8, 2011 at her home. A native of Cleveland County, she loved music, taking trips and riding in a car. She enjoyed having friends and family visit to share her music and a time of fellowship. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dufaye and Gladys Hamrick and Ryburn and Lillian Petty. She is survived by her parents, Robert Alston Petty & Brenda Hamrick Petty of the home and a special aunt and uncle, Kenny & Heidi Lloyd. She is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to express their appreciation to Hospice and Dr. Potts for their special care and compassion.
