Charles "Chuck" Edward Aiken

Mr. Charles “Chuck” Edward Aiken, age 93 of Spindale, NC, passed away Monday, August 18, 2025, at Mission Hospital in Asheville.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Barbara Gosnell Aiken of the home, and numerous children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Born November 20, 1931, in Easly, South Carolina, Chuck enjoyed golfing, working outside in the yard, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Chuck was a service member in the U. S. Airforce serving primarily at Warner Robbins Air Force Base in Georgia.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Spindale Covenant Brethren Church, 129 Sterling Street, conducted by Rev. Russell Payne and Rev. Lance Greene. A visitation will be held from 12:00pm – 1:00pm prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Eternal Hills.
