Chantha Thongkhamvilay, age 76 of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Atrium Health in Shelby.
She is survived by her children, Bounthieng Luangrath (Boun), Tien Komsonkeo (Sird), Hasady Thongkhamvilay, and Vicki Vilay (Vinnie), seventeen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.
Born December 1, 1948, in Laos, Chantha was preceded in death by her husband, Khamsay Thongkhamvilay, two children, Vieng Thongkhamvilay and Vanesa Thongkhamvilay.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Cleveland Funeral Services in Shelby, NC.
